It feels so weird to have been at uni for nearly a year now. It's like i've known my friends for most of my life and that we've been together forever type thing. We're so close. And that after all these months of studying i'm now in the middle of my exams. Yesterday's exam was a little bit of a pisstake. It was like 'We studied for 10 friggin weeks for this!' Got biochem in lie 2 hours. I already know that I'm going to fail that so i'm not entirely sure why i'm even trying to revise right now. Oh well, it can't hurt to go over the different cycles. 1st year exams are supposed to be easy..yeah, ok, whatever! Naz and I were thinking yesterday that people say their exams are easy, but the people who say that are the humanities students, you know, MEdia studies, history, Drama. Anyway, here's hoping that I pass biochem!

I'm up waaaay too early for a non-work/lecture day. I can't beleive i agreed to meet Fran and Naz at the library at 9 am!!! Ok, well, exams tomorrow, and friday and next monday...I'm going to die. I was having his major panic yesterday about microbiology but after looking at hte questions they don't look too bad. My only iffy subject is going to be Biochemistry. 40% is suddenly seeming like a HUGE percentage to get just to pass. I personally wish that coursework was worth more then it really is. I hate exams. Coursework gooooood exams baaaad. Oh well, one week and I can relax a little more and actually FINISH my Evita biography and get down to the nitty gritty of final fantasy 7...I WILL WATCH ADVENT CHILDREN DAMMIT!! I really wanna start playing Kingdom Hearts again. God damn exams. And I've suddenly been hit with a sudden burst of fresh ideas for Birth Rights. I've decided i'm going to try and turn it into a series. It has the potential for a series...I just need to elaborate a lot! not hard considering i wrote the story when i was 14/15. Everytime i read it i just think that theres sooo much more potential there. So, task for hte next few years....finish Treasure Guardian and turn Birth Rights into a series. which will involve rewriting it...joy!!

I hope everyone understands the title of this post. Exams are stupid. I've been revising for them and I still know nothing more then i did before, except that I can now write out the TCA cycle. The only releif from this exam stress is NOTHING!! I hate exams cause i can't enjoy anything though Ice age 2 did make me forget about them for a while, as did King Kong. I saw King Kong yesterday for the first time. I'm sorta glad i didn't spend money to see it in the cinema. It's a great film, it's just....I can't really put my finger on what's wrong with it. Naomi Watts is a great actress by the way. I love how she can express various emotions.  Ice Age 2 was hilarious. It's great! though i felt kinda bad for Scrat at the end of the movie. And the little Sloths were great. I won't really say much more in case people haven't seen it but i say GO AND SEE IT!!! it's hilarious. Tonight i might sit down and watch V for Vendetta. it's supposed to be a good movie, or so i'm told. I'll make my own judgement later.

Anyways, back to revision. I hate exams, i really do!! ARG!!! DOWN WITH EXAMS!!!

Ok, I was reading this other webjournal and I got thinking about religion and the whole 'IF THOU ARNT CHRISTAIN THOU WILL BURN IN HELL' thing. She was writing about this new gospel that has been translated. I recall it last week but never really thought about it except to think 'Christianity is stupid'. Now, I don't beleive in religion. I beleive in God and heaven and hell and that if you've led a good life helping others then you'll get into heaven. Jesus and the 'virgin' Mary I believe existed but I won't tell you my veiws on him cause it'll probably lead to a few hate messages.

Anyway, I don't understand this whole organised religion thing. I don't have so many issues with Islam, Judaism, buddhism, sihkism etc more that I have an issue with Christanity. It seems to me that Christianity are just striving to be something like the society in George Orwell's 1984. If someone doesn't fit into what they think first you try and convert them. If they dont accept god into their hearts then they must be gotten rid of. What kind of attitude is this. And then there are all their different 'equality' attitudes. The Bible said that it's Eves fault for eating the apple from the forbidden tree of knowledge, therefore women are at fault...And then they turn around and say that there is 'equality' between men and women. Firstly, where was this equality for, oh, say ...2000 years? and how can a religion be equal if they pin the original sin on the woman? According to one of my friends he says that it wasn't her fault but the way i read the bible they pin everything on Eve. The old testament i believe did happen and is relitively accurate so i'll leave it at that but the New testament...that gives me beef. It was written in like 200/300 AD...so how can anyone truly beleive that it was accurate? The people who wrote it weren't at Christ's side.

Arg, I'm getting too frustrated, i can't carry on rant. It's the narrow mindedness of some religious people that really gets to me. A really good friend of mine is a hard-core Muslim but she always let me argue my own beliefs and she'd accept it, sometimes argue good points sometimes agree with me. I try the same thing at my mum's church when i try and go and all I get as a reply is 'You haven't accepted christ into you heart'...........What kind of answer is that to a question? Or it's 'In the bible it says...' I don't care what the bible says to be honest. It seems to me that Christianity doesn't seem to want to make allowances. I go out to Africa to help people, I do loads of volunteer work in the community, i give loads to charity and yet, according to my mum's pastor, I'm going to hell, not cause i'm a bad person but because I'm not christian! Fair? I think not! What is the point of religion! pah!

Again, I know others may have other veiws and I accept that, if you want to argue go for it, but dont try and force your veiws on me, i've heard them all before. I'm up for an argument with anyone as long as you wont take offence to it.

Oh my god!! So very traumatised today. Went all the way to North London today and i am NEVER EVER going to do that again!!! there was sooo much traffic....so many crazy drivers....so much traffic......argh!! Fortunately Fran appreciated my efforts to get to her house. It was so worth it to see Fran. Her house is lovely. It's a pity she has to move out. But the prize for driving to North London was 3 boxes of books and possibly a pet cat (dad's considering letting me adopt Fran's cat)

On a different note, Kanye west has ruined yet ANOTHER SONG!! He should be sucked into a hole, destroyed and eradicated from this earth. I don't understand why people like him, all he seems to do is ruing songs!! I mean, every time that I hear Diamonds are forever (Shirley bassey version) I can't listen to it any more!! He ruined everything!!

Here be pirates!!! Ye be reading the journal of a pirate who aint never sailed on the open sea and has yet to visit Davie Jones Locker with a scuba diving kit! hehe, went to thorpe park yesterday for one of my friend's birthday party. It was so much fun, we had so many funny looks wondering around Thorpe park dressed as pirates. Unfortunately half the rides were broken or weren't working so We got free tickets!!! How cool is that!! My throat is absolutely killing me, i need some Halls or Strepsils!

So bored at the moment. I'm sitting in a chem lecture, and I should probably be listening cause i've got to learn all this for my exams next term but this is just so dull! Stuff about spectra and stuff. Planning on sleeping later, i always want to sleep, sleep is good but i have a stupid leb report in for later today which i still haven't done. That and my parents and entire family are all off to korea next week so have 2 weeks of haing the house all to my lonesome. As nice as it seems i'm gona get bored and lonely, even though i should really be working and studying for my exams, which i will do but meh...

ARGH ME HEARTIES!!!!

Went to legoland today to get my annual pass renewed. Dad thought i should get it renewed so that I could take Emma and Jonny to Legoland in the easter. I would have my staff pass but alas, i'm not being rehired till may. Got to see the new London today in Miniland. It looks amazing, they've got the Gherkin, Canary wharf and the HSBC buildings in there and they're HUGE!! sooo many lego bricks. St. Pauls looks amazing and they've cleaned up all the old models. They've even got Convertible bugs!!!!!! HOW AWESOME!!!! I was able to meet all my work friends there, it was great. I've missed them so much. It's like I never left cause there was Mr. T picking on me, in front of my dad, and asking if I planned on destroying the tills again this year! I got to buy a pirate hat and a foam cutlass today ready for when we go to Alanna's birthday party at Thorpe Park. She's decided that we're going as pirates to that place. I'm gonna be buying myself a season ticket to there so I'll get to go to thorpe, Alton towers, chessington and Madame Taussauds whenever i want for free! Woohoo!!

Going snow skiing tomorrow as well. I know, snow skiing in england....SNOW in ENGLAND!!! YOU MUST BE JOKING! but i kid you not! There's a large indoor skiing centre there that we're going to. That should be really fun cause i haven't been skiing for ages! It's mainly so that Emme can get in some practice for thursday when she goes to America. I have to drive to MK tho, should be interesting as I don't know the way....WOOHOO!!

Just finished reading 1984. It was a really good book but it scared me a little at the same time. I was surprised and scared at how the party went through so much just to keep their people in control. I was surprised at how advanced everything was in the book. George Orwell is an amazing writer and it's amazing that he thought of such a book. I got bored of all the pages of eplanation but i suppose in that time he had to explain everything to his readers because they'd never come across that kind of idea before. The concept of Big Brother and such stuff.

Anyway, I'm going off to have lunch, must remember there's an RPG meeting at 5....damn, this should be fun. ta ta

I watched my Cinderella DVD yesterday for hte first time cause, well it's the first time i've actually had enough time to watch it. Anyway, I was watching a muic video for the song 'Every Girl Can Be A Princess' which is a cinderella song on the Ultimate Disney Princesses CD and they had clips from all the Disney princesses, Belle, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Cinderella etc and I got even angrier cause Beauty and the Beast looks absolutely amazing on DVD and I don't have it! In fact, i wont be able to get it until bloody 2012!!!!! Or if i do want it i have to shell out £40 jsut to get a used copy! pah! that is so stupid, and Sleeping beauty comes out in 2010! Anyone else think this is a stupid system of releasing DVDs? Sure it gets them more money but how stupid is it! Thank god i only have to wait until October for The Little Mermaid!

Oh brighter notes, I found a necklace my mum bought me ages ago. I thought i'd lost it then yesterday i thought to have a look in my jewellery box and there it was. I used to wear it all the time, now that i found it, i might wear it more. Also....1 1/2 weeks left of uni!!! OH YEAH!! unfotunately that means that exams draw closer  not looking forward to that

had my data handling exam today and what joyful fun it was! not! After that i sped off of campus as fast as Nick could walk (I was following him on my bike). Once at Kingswood i went to the local Saab dealer for my dad. And boy did i get some funny looks when i was wondering around looking at cars.

Anyway, nothing new to report except that I have a new website for all of the comics that I draw in lectures. At the moment it's called the Cornucopia of Love cause I couldn't be bothered to change the name of the site. But it's really funny, I'll put a link up if i remember to. All my friends (in my bio group) are in it and it's great, teehee.

woohoo!! got a house for next year. It's a beautiful little house and it's cheap...ish for this area. It's a 4 bedroom semi-detatched with 2 WCs and a bathroom. The garden is nice as well but it could do with a bit of work, which JAmes said he'd do. I think we've done really well. The Kitchen looks fantastic as well. I can't wait to move in!! Anyway, so excited!! hehe
